I enjoyed the We Are Data reading mainly because of how it explained humans are sortable data. Everything we post makes it easier to sort us into different categories. I had already been more aware recently of what I posted, but readings like this make me extra aware. My mom had always warned me when I was younger about not posting things I shouldn't for future employers. I had always listened, but in the back of my mind, I thought my posts were private so what did it matter. Though the posts are private and not everyone can see them, they are still data that is sorted. Anything posted is data. Being aware of this, even though people may not see your personal posts doesn't mean the data wasn't on the app. Though this isn't necessarily clearly stated it is something to be aware of when posting.
